It’s been an eventful year at Harrow, and the latest highlight is British Schools Forum 2021. The major annual occasion for China’s international education sector united over 70 British Schools across the nation and 140 leading educators to share the victorious moment with winners of the British School Awards. 

As the only title sponsor of the Forum, we are proud to see three of our schools shortlisted for the Awards and AISL Harrow Beijing receiving the Empowering Students Award!

British education in China

The British Schools Forum was co-organised by the British Embassy and the British Chambers of Commerce in China to offer local and foreign education experts a platform to exchange opinions and ideas on educational innovations and experience of international education in China. The authoritative British School Awards, a highlight of the Forum, was a highlight of the occasion.

As Asia’s leading K-12 group offering world-renowned education, AISL Harrow Schools is the only title sponsor of the Forum. We took this opportunity to share our 450-year educational heritage and 25 years of international education in Asia with like-minded educators, helping steer China’s development of British and bilingual education that aims to foster future leaders with both Chinese and Western knowledge.

Empowering Students Awards

Like all other AISL Harrow Schools, Harrow Beijing is committed to empowering students with the right values, leadership, and outstanding academic abilities. Students are encouraged to unleash their strengths and express their views in the classroom or during extracurricular activities and community services. This prepares them for the learning journey at AISL Harrow, world-renowned universities, or even a prominent career in local or foreign workplaces.

The learning journey of our international Harrovians isn’t just about academic results. They are also contributors and participants in campus and community building. Outside the classroom, students in Harrow Beijing contribute to the development of the school community through different student organisations, such as the school newspaper, campus TV channel, Shaftesbury Society. Student unions and house groups in the lower grades and teaching representative teams composed of senior students allow Harrovians to express their views and communicate with teachers to jointly improve the school's teaching quality and learning experience.
