　　为了切实提高教师的综合素质，加强教学改革的实践能力，真正有效地提升教学质量，本学期第7周起，田家炳中学国际部公开教学周正式拉开帷幕。 　　来自上海田家炳中学国际课程中心的Mr. David、Mr. Joshua、Mr. Anthony、Ms. Suki四位老师，在本周率先为大家展示了活泼生动、高效专注的课堂。 　　Teacher: David 　　Topic: Middle Colonies in North America 　　Students were learning about the English colonies in North America and learning about the reasons people decided to move from Europe to America. 　　Teacher: JoshuaJun 　　Topic: Civics American Colonial Disagreementswith Great Britain 　　Students learned how disagreements over rights and government in the American colonies lead to a desire for American independence from Great Britain. 　　Teacher: Suki 　　Topic: Price elasticity of demand 　　*Explaind the difference between elastic andinelastic demand 　　*Describe the relationship between elasticity and total revenue 　　*Illustrate how the price elasticity changes along a demand curve 　　*Identify the factors that determine price elasticity of demand 　　Teacher:  Anthony Castruita 　　Topic: World history 　　The lesson was about Hammurabi’s code. The students first discussed what was law and later wrote their own laws for their class. 　　期间，TJBI其他老师们积极主动来到教室听课，大家一起深入课堂，相互取经，为日后的教学汲取经验。 　　公开课结束后，在教研组长Snow老师的组织下进行了课后研讨会，就本周大家公开课的表现进行交流，每位老师都积极提出了自己的想法与建议。
